How to Validate that a model meets requirements
Reviewing your model before simulation
To ensure that you get meaningful results from your simulations, review your model before you simulate it.
Only you are able to determine if the model accurately represents the process you are interested in. Therefore, before creating a simulation profile it is good to review the structure of the model to ensure that the simulations and analyses of it will produce information as expected. Also, review the simulation profile settings before you run your simulations in order to ensure that they produce useful information.
-
Reviewing your terminate and end nodes
Before creating a simulation profile, you must ensure that your process flows make correct use of the terminate and end nodes. - Reviewing the process flows inside your loops
In order for loops to simulate correctly, they must meet a number of requirements. - Reviewing the process for static process cases analysis
If you plan to conduct a static process cases analyses on your model, you must ensure your process model meets additional restrictions.
