The test consists of six sections containing a total of approximately 52 multiple-choice questions. The percentages after each section title reflect the approximate distribution of the total question set across the sections.
Section 3 - Simulation (17%)
- Define simulation settings and attributes for running simulations
- Demonstrate the effects of simulation settings on simulation outputs
- Demonstrate the effects of varying combinations of modeling syntax on simulation outputs
- Understand how resources and roles are allocated during simulation
- Identify risks/benefits of a future process design based on simulation data and process design goals
- Understand how statistical distributions affect simulation behavior
